On 27th September, Suzanne Garry and Julie-Ann Lyons, Infant Mental Health Practitioners, from Youngballymun’s Infant Mental Health Team travelled to Dundalk to provide a two-day Masterclass on Infant Mental Health.
They were invited by the ABC Genesis Manager, Gavin McGee and Annemarie Ó Murchú, First3Years Initiative Development Officer, to spread the word on the importance of supporting baby’s earliest relationship with their caregiver.
Participants at the training were represented from all different agencies working with babies and their families including PHNs, Social Workers, Psychologists, Early years practitioner, colleagues from local CAMHS services and Dundalk Institute of Technology (DIT)
It was a pleasure to meet so many committed practitioners working in the Dundalk area and the training proved to be a great success.
